The best cart in the city?

The other day I went to the "Halal Food" cart on the southwest corner of 53rd and 6th, across the street from the Hilton hotel. I have heard from many sources that this is the "best" food cart in the city. From my experience (I used to live in the area) there always seemed to be a long line of people waiting to get food from the cart no matter what time of day. Fortunately this particular afternoon there was no line. The chicken/rice dish (chix-rice) seemed to be what everyone was ordering although they also offered cheese steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs and pretzels. The cost was $6 for a plate of food and it proved to be very tasty. There also seemed to be a group of people enjoying their cart food on the surrounding benches.

I don't know if it is the best cart in the city but it sure was good. What do you think?

I just walked by this cart at 10pm a few weeks ago and was stunned by how many people were around. Too bad it was after dinner, otherwise I might have stopped.
Best cart in the city. Hands down. I used to eat there back in high school when we'd stay at the Hilton for Model UN conferences. Something about that white sauce is just scrumptious!
Unfortunately, that wasn't the infamous halal cart. That cart is only there around 7:30PM on. Anytime before that are immitators. The dish is also $5. I just finished my combo dish, and had to wait over 40 minutes. Worth every minute!
their food is heavenly. my mouth waters just thinknig about it. its worth every dollar.
